Are you are trying to make sense of your child’s strong reactions to seemingly small things?

Or perhaps your child has been withdrawing from others, having bad dreams, avoiding school, or telling you about frequent worries?

All of this is quite common, especially since the period when COVID was at its worst.

You might be wondering what you can do….and what it would be like to seek help for your child.

My approach is highly collaborative.

You know your child best. You carry wisdom about what draws your child in and what makes them feel safe. You know about their gifts and their needs.

That is why, before meeting with your child, I will meet with you on Zoom or over the phone for a brief free consult. We will discuss what your concerns are and what you hope the future will look like.

In planning to meet your child, I will use what I have learned from you to plan an initial session.

This session – like all sessions - will include activities such as drawing, playing with puppets, playing games – to help engage your child and to help me learn directly about your child’s strengths and challenges.

Future sessions will include individual sessions with your child, some sessions just for you, and some with you and your child.

I so appreciate the courage that it takes to ask for support.
