What matters to you is where therapy starts.
Perhaps you are living through a loss or other painful event that has made life feel heavy.
Maybe you haven't felt joy in a long time and want to wake up looking forward to the day.
Maybe you're stressed with worry about someone important to you.
All of this is what therapy is about.
Through psychotherapy and counseling, I help people age 17 and older cope with stress, grief, loss, trauma, post-traumatic stress, depression, and anxiety - using EMDR, cognitive behavioral therapy and other evidence-based practices.
I have openings in my practice and have slots available on weekdays and some weeknight/weekend times as well.
I offer both in-person and telehealth visits. My offices are in West Nyack and New City, New York. Both are easily accessible from Orange County, Rockland County, and Westchester County.
My approach is highly collaborative and welcoming. I bring many experiences into my work - clinical practice, teaching, clinical supervision, executive-level management, as well as volunteer work in equine therapy, animal adoption, and reading to people with visual impairments.
It's easy to get started.
Setting up a first appointment can feel overwhelming. I make this easy by offering an initial free consult that can happen over the phone, on Zoom, or in-person.
This gives you an opportunity to discuss what you're looking for, ask any questions you might have, and get a sense of what it might be like to work together.
Just contact me for an appointment.
